Luke 9:26-28

New Matthew Bible

²⁶ For whoever is ashamed of me and of my sayings, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his own glory, and in the glory of his Father, and of the holy angels. ²⁷ And I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.

²⁸ And it followed about eight days after those sayings that Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and went up into a mountain to pray.
